Welcome

Cheri Pierson Yecke, Ph.D. is an educator, author, and has been a leader in K-12 and higher education administration throughout her career.  She is a national expert and advocate for gifted education and for middle school reform.  Her other interests include the works and life of Laura Ingalls Wilder.


She is the author of three books: The War Against Excellence,  Mayhem in the Middle, and The USS Emmons: Eyewitness Accounts of the Battle of Okinawa.


Currently, she is working on her fourth book, The Historical Little House Companion.
